As a long-term partner of BALENCIAGA, SKYnoa once again helped the brand to deliver its new store at Guangzhou Taikoo Hui. For this project, SKYnoa took full responsibility for project management, marking the sixth successful collaboration in China between the two parties. This project aims to transform an existing old single level store, expanding it to the second floor and open as a duplex store. The process began with comprehensive site surveys, including detailed reviews of local building regulations and the documentation of all non-removable structures.

Throughout the project, SKYnoa supported BALENCIAGA in design development, translating initial concepts into precise technical drawings, reviewing construction drawings complied to their regulation and adhering to safety standards. This ensured a reliable and technical foundation for seamless project execution.
Acting as the central coordinating party, SKYnoa oversaw communication and progress alignment between BALENCIAGA, general contractor, landlord, and all vendors, suppliers. SKYnoa proactively identified and resolved unforeseen issues that had not emerged during earlier phases. Working within a highly compressed schedule, the team coordinated closely with different parties, rapidly adjusting plans and aligning resources to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
The store design fully preserves BALENCIAGA’s iconic spatial language. High standard management is crucial to execute such unique store aesthetic which is at SKYnoa core , making it the decisive factor behind a successful launch, and a fundamental pillar supporting the brand’s long-term commercial success.
